Tilt Shift
I hated trying to find a place high enough to take a picture for this project so over spring break I went to my grandmas house to take pictures for this project. After I found a place high enough for this project to work, we uploaded the pictures on photo schop and used the lens blur tool to blur out the foreground and background. After it looked like a natural blur, we Used the brightness and contrast tool. This time changeing the colors of the photo to the extreams. in doing this it gave the picture a toy effect. If I would have been higher I feel like my pictures would have turned out better. After the first picture I got the hang of it and started bluring out random things :) It made the project way more interesting.

Street: Contact Sheet
The street photography project was really stressful when I started. I went to Portland on a rainy day and i was afraid no one was going to be outside. After a couple pictures I got comfortable and wasnt afraid of people noticeing me. When ever I had an opportunity I snapped my camera. I was amazed when my pictures came to life on the paper. I hope we get to do a project similer to this again!
"Did you just get us"
This was one of my more awkward photos. I loved this couple. They looked so similer with their matching hats and black jackets. I also loved the emotion it gave the picture by their curiosty and the fact they are holding hands made the picture. I Had to hurry when taking this photo because they were walking so fast. I adjusted my shutter speed and SNAP, the camera made a loud noise. The guy turned to me and asked "Did you just get us?" I just started laughing yelled "Yes I did!" and ran away!
Narnia.
Little boy looking into the magical world of Portland. With wide
eyes and such wonder. I wish this picture had more contrasting
colors!

Do not walk.
I LOVE this picture. I love the busy but not so busy feeling it gives you. The detail on this photo really catched your eye and draws your attention to the zero on the cross walk sign. I didnt want to take a close up of the homeless man because one time when I volenteered at a shelter we were told not to take pictures. Another thing I love is the contrast between the blacks and whites!
